A new application for Glamping, Caravaning, and Camping has been lodged.

We have been in consultation with various government departments regarding re-opening camping at Tamala Station. A new application has been lodged with the Department of Planning Land & Heritage.

The application seeks to move the camping off the beach (crown land) inside the pastoral station boundary (40 meters in from the high tideline) in the same locations as previous beach camp sites.

We are hopeful the outcome will be positive, and an approval will be granted by March 2026.

We will update this website as soon as we are able to advise that camping will re-open, and when bookings can commence.
